Does Obelisk need Administrator?

No. Setup asks only for the permissions your chosen features need. If you used quick_admin, turn Administrator off afterwards (see Getting Started).

Commands aren’t showing up.

Make sure Obelisk was invited with slash commands. New commands can take a while to appear in Discord. Some staff commands are hidden from members without the right permissions.

Obelisk can’t punish someone or edit a role.

Obelisk can’t act on anything above its own role. Move the Obelisk role higher in Server Settings → Roles.

Obelisk can’t post in its log or honeypot channel.

Run /fix_permissions (try dry_run first).

Why didn’t an image get caught?

Image detection matches against known spam pictures; it isn’t a general AI image classifier. Add examples with /image_add and test with /check_image. Image spam matching is a Premium feature.

I was muted by mistake. What do I do?

Run /appeal in that server. Staff will approve or deny it.

Will a trusted bot be punished by anti-nuke?

No. Trusted users and bots skip the join gate, raid protection, anti-nuke and honeypots.

What happens to my data if I remove Obelisk?

Settings and backups are kept for 7 days, then deleted. See our Privacy Policy.
