Appeals

Members who were muted or punished by mistake can appeal, and staff approve or deny with one click.

For members

Run /appeal in the server. A form asks for your reason (3–1000 characters) and any custom questions the server added. You can only appeal when you have an active punishment on record there, and only one appeal can be pending at a time.

For staff

Each appeal is posted to the server’s appeals channel with Approve and Reject buttons. You can also use /approve_appeal and /deny_appeal with the appeal’s number (0-based, among this server’s pending appeals). Approving clears the punishment.

Appeals need an appeals channel to be configured; Discord appeals can be turned off per server.

Custom questions Premium

Add up to 4 extra questions to the appeal form (Discord forms allow five fields, and one is always the reason).

• Label up to 45 characters, optional placeholder up to 100 characters.
• Style: short (answers up to 200 characters) or paragraph (up to 1000 characters), with your own max length.
• Each question can be required or optional.

On the Free plan the saved questions are kept, but the form only asks for the reason.
